The Name
Arcanada draws from the Latin "arcana" — secrets, hidden knowledge. We see AI agents as the modern arcana: powerful systems that, when understood properly, unlock what previously seemed impossible.
Autonomy levels
Every project in the ecosystem carries an autonomy rating on the L0–L7 scale, from fully manual operation to a system that develops its own infrastructure and rules. The rating is not a badge of ambition: a project is capped by its weakest required link — human role, observability, failure handling, tool boundaries, and a verifiable feedback loop — and a target level describes a roadmap, not an achievement. Each project page shows its current level and links to what that level means.
