What Is Legal Arcana?
Legal Arcana is a planned ecosystem-wide legal and compliance knowledge hub for the Arcanada ecosystem. It is currently in the design phase, with its domain (legal.arcanada.ai) not yet live. This announcement outlines what it will be: a service that tracks regulation across multiple jurisdictions, versions all policy changes, links user consent through Auth Arcana, and runs a "Legal Consul" AI agent that curates the knowledge base and audits ecosystem sites for compliance drift.
Six Jurisdictions Covered
Legal Arcana will track regulation across six jurisdictional regimes:
- GDPR (EU)
- CCPA (US-California)
- LGPD (Brazil)
- 152-FZ (Russia)
- Law 94-V (Kazakhstan)
- DPDP (India)
Key Capabilities
The service will provide several core functions:
- Multi-country regulation tracking. Stay informed about regulatory changes across six different legal frameworks simultaneously.
- Policy versioning. Every policy change is versioned and auditable, ensuring complete transparency in how policies evolve over time.
- User-consent cross-link via Auth Arcana. Identity and consent attribution with a full audit trail, following the Kantara Consent Receipt 1.1 specification.
- Legal Consul agent. An AI agent that curates the legal knowledge base and runs a weekly site-audit cron across ecosystem sites to detect compliance drift.
Human oversight remains central: text mutation is capped at AAL L2, meaning a human must approve any policy text change.
The Real Story: Rank-1 Ecosystem Reuse
Legal Arcana is significant because it is the first ecosystem service after Munera to reuse the full Arcanada stack from Phase 0. This validates the ecosystem-reuse pattern on a second product:
- Auth Arcana – identity, consent, and audit trail
- Scrutator BGE-M3 – RAG over the legal corpus
- Model Connector – LLM routing for translations and the Legal Consul agent
- LTM – regulator-watch memory
- Vault – secrets management
- Ops Bot – self-healing event hub for the site-audit agent
Current Status and Next Steps
Legal Arcana is planned and in design. The domain legal.arcanada.ai is not live yet (DNS setup and landing page are planned tasks). No launch date or pricing has been set. Commercial SaaS (Phase 5) is deferred and out of scope for now.
